Updated Review:
1. Like Tanya, I am also a single mom. So yes, while you were nice enough to loan me the money , you knew you were getting it back, plus a very hefty (and greedy interest), plus commission on the sale of the house. So don’t say that you support single moms.
2. Like you. Tanya wanted double than what I owed her. So yes, I did decline paying her. I told her to adjust it to the appropriate amount and she refused.
3. My personal life and my kids have nothing to do with a job that I contracted with you and the little effort you did into selling my house. Your description of the house on the MLS was verbatim of the previous MLS when -I- bought the house. You even were tedious enough to charge me $100 for a yard sign that blew away during the tropical storm that cost you probably $20.
4. My house was not trashed at closing. Nor was it from start to finish. There was no “cleaning crew several times”. It had stuff you didn’t approve of , but trash and filthy is a stretch. I had a friend who is much better at cleaning get everything out, including the clothes in the dryer. But she did tell me that the thermostat was set at 70 degrees. So thank you Lisa for that and trying to raise my electric bill until the very end.
5. The information of my new address you most definitely know as a realtor at closing. How else will I get the paperwork forward to me? Well, my ex, Scott did say a lot of information in court that only you would know and he wrote a five star review in exchange on your business page.
6. I can’t write my honest review on your business page after doing business with you? That’s what a review is. But you want to send your husband to my business page – where you two never stepped foot in and it’s OK to write a one star review for that?
Very unprofessional. Is really bad at her job when it comes to listing and selling a house. It sold for lower than its value. The only hurricane damage was maybe two panels of fence, missing, and the pool cage needed to be redone. But it was a 20-year-old pool cage. Anyways, the house had a brand new roof and was being freshly painted. Lisa told me It would be a good idea too, to put all my furniture and storage and repaint the house. And then she had the audacity to tell me that it had better showings before, and we got worse reviews from realtors after I did that Lisa offered to buy my house for $45,000 , she knew I was in a vulnerable and desperate situation. Someone, anyone else, would have worked harder to sell it for more. I purchased it for 305k and 2018 There is no reason it should’ve sold for 375k in 2023 in SW Cape Coral . Lisa also has been on speaking terms with my ex Who. I have a restraining order. She disclosed private information to him Including my new home address. (updated 1 year ago, Lauren on Google)
Response from Lisa Cohen:
I can see you have updated your comment 2 days ago. I honestly cannot recall the exact details of the paint situation among many of your issues of refusing to listen to any professional you came in contact with.
I do slightly recall something about you wanting to paint and then you ended by only partially painting and never should have started if you would not be completing the job. It really looked like a 2 year old did the work. You left all kinds of personal items in the house, including a dryer full of clothing. The house was filthy and then after bringing a cleaning crew in many times, and promising to pay a single mom at closing, you actually told the title company not to pay her after she waited 3 months for your payment. You really are a horrible person. What kind of a mother does that to another mother after all the work she put into your house, for you to only leave the house trashed again with all your personal effects left behind? And to add the worst of your update, that I shared personal information with your ex is insane.
I don’t even know where you live to give anyone that information, nor would I if I did know where you live. I really do pray for your children, as I won’t go any further on that topic because I values and people reading this response don’t need to know what happening in your personal life that I personally came to rescue to on 4 separate occasions, financially speaking. Then you continue to try to do harm to my company instead of being grateful for saving your business, putting a roof on your house, paying for a lawyer for you and then after being months and months behind on your promised payments, lent you additional money to keep your business a float a second time for a total of lending you over $80k.
