I highly advise not to work with Valor and Lisa specifically. She is unprofessional and took advantage of the properties we entrusted with her to rent by breaching our agreement/contract. Lisa did not answer any emails unless it benefitted her or was something that she needed. She never answered any phone calls either. She withheld payment for renting our property for two-months after the specified instructions in our contract. Once the payment was received, she took an additional $1k out for miscellaneous deductions. A cleaning crew was also promised upon the tenants leaving, which Valor never sent. Our property was left dirty and damaged from the tenants that Lisa rented to. She also threatened to withhold payment if we did not agree to leave a online review, which we refused. We find it necessary to address the inaccuracies and misrepresentations within your review. Which can all be backed up with written communications and recorded phone calls.
Let’s set the record straight. Your claims regarding Valor and Lisa are baseless and unfounded. Contrary to your assertions, we diligently responded to every single email and phone call within a reasonable timeframe. The delay in payment was not a result of negligence but a precautionary measure due to the threats regarding your wanting to evict the tenants’, a situation you were well aware of because you created it.
Furthermore, the deductions made were entirely justified and in accordance with the terms outlined in our contract. We won’t apologize for ensuring we are compensated for expenses incurred due to your erratic decisions, including fees levied by Airbnb for cancellations initiated by you and approved by you along with the failure to return items as instructed by legal counsel. Counsel that refused to continue to represent you after showing who you truly are.
Regarding the cleaning crew, it was clearly communicated that you had insisted on handling the cleaning yourselves, yet you now attempt to shift blame for your own failure to uphold your end of the agreement. Not to mention to you were forwarded the payment for that cleaning.
As for the condition of the property post-tenancy, it’s regrettable that you refused our attempts to conduct an inspection. Without proper assessment, any claims of damages remain unsubstantiated. This all further underscores the challenges we faced in our dealings with you.
While we stand by the authenticity of our 5-star reviews, it’s unfortunate that your review doesn’t reflect the same level of honesty. In light of your tendency towards erratic behavior, we did extend an olive branch by offering to waive a fee in exchange for refraining from making false claims on Google. This compromise was an attempt to mitigate potential conflicts, given our anticipation of your unpredictable actions.
However, it’s evident that even our efforts to find common ground were futile in dealing with individuals who consistently changed their minds in protocols and refuse to cooperate in good faith.
Despite our disappointment in how our partnership transpired, we remain committed to upholding our professional standards and providing exceptional service to our clients who appreciate integrity and transparency as can be read in the last decade of reviews found below and above.
